Creating a Clear Return On Investment

Our belief is that the success of our commercial partnerships is dependent on an investment from all parties involved: your company and the key programme sponsors; us at Wentworth People; and of course the programme participants. We also believe that your investment in your culture and your people demands a healthy return on investment. So we place a great deal of importance in measuring the impact of the programmes we deliver.

Measuring ROI on learning & development has been fudged for years. A lot of the investment in people is done because it’s seen as the right thing to do and that’s enough. We believe we can and must quantify the ROI and we do it by:

  • Agreeing what should be measured and by what criteria we evaluate the success of a program
  • Measuring current performance to create a benchmark
  • Tracking and measuring performance against the agreed metrics during and after the delivery, including utilizing our Enjoyment Tracker tool
  • Where possible ensuring we can arrive at a $ value tangible benefit to set against the investment and this arrive at an ROI figure.
